The skills I’ve been employing in this course are among the most beneficial for real-world and academic history work I have learned. The application of history to a digital format allowed research, ideas, and information to be shared in an accessible way, and the ability to create that format is most important. To be able to understand the rules and constraints of the platform, as well as the possibilities it can grant, and how to work with them. Digital archiving, website building, task management, and an in-depth understanding of the digital humanities are all skills that are highly applicable to most jobs in the modern history sector and are required to facilitate the accessible dissemination of knowledge to broader audiences.
