Reflection:
- The Devil-Goat Day Digital History Project will highlight how a playful rivalry that began in 1926 grew into one of the most meaningful traditions at UMW. What started as something student-created competition between “Devils” and “Goats” evolved into a part of campus identity, boosting class pride and a sense of community across classes. Our video describes how, using an interactive timeline and curated archival materials, the project will not only preserve the history of Devil-Goat Day but also show how the tradition has changed over time.
